Nilu Izadi has been a photographer since picking up a camera at the age of 8. She stumbled upon the magic of the camera obscura and pinhole photography through her work with light as a sculpture student. She has travelled extensively to the USA, India, Africa and Europe building permanent site specific camera obscura and has set up pinhole photography workshops for many galleries including the Serpentine Gallery and The Photographers' Gallery. Her commercial photography plays an important balancing act with her fine art.
