Karoline Hjorth is a Norwegian photographer who graduated from the University of Westminster in 2006. Her photographic practice and research is informed by a multidisciplinary approach to art, communication and culture, and encourages a plurality of views and active audience engagement.

Before devoting herself to the world of photography she also completed studies in philosophy, geography and social anthropology, and her diverse bodies of work have enjoyed the input from a diverse background. She won the Deloitte Award in 2005, part of Schweppes Photographic Portrait Award, and has exhibited both in the UK and abroad.
