AARON SCHUMAN is an American photographer, editor and critic, currently based in the United Kingdom. He received a B.F.A in Photography and History of Art from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 1999, and an M.A. in Humanities and Cultural Studies, from the University of London's London Consortium in 2003. Aaron has exhibited his photographic work internationally, and has been featured in publications such as ArtReview, Modern Painters, HotShoe, Creative Review, DayFour, The Face, Bust, aRude, F-Stop, Brill's Content, the RIBA Journal, The Guardian, and The Sunday Times. Aaron was one of six photographers to be short listed for The Times 2002 Young Photographer of the Year Award, and is a member of Young Photographers United. He is also the founder, director, and editor of the online photography magazine, SeeSaw, and is an Associate Lecturer in Photography, at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth (AIB).
